Sherilyn Lee is an award winning poet and essayist. Her poems have been published recently in Common Ground Review, The Rockhurst Review, The Lindenwood Review, Four Ties Lit Review, Emerge, the museum of americana, and other journals. She was selected as a Juried Poet at the 2013 Houston Poetry Fest, short-listed for the 2012 Philip Levine Prize in Poetry, and a finalist in the 2010 National Poetry Series Open Competition. Her essays have appeared in Kauai Back Story, Quiet Mountain Essays, and Prism Review. She has performed at Beyond Baroque Literary Arts Center and the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books and studied with Kenyon Review Writers Workshop, Hanalei Writers Workshop, Hugo House, and Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. She is the Poetry Editor at Angels Flight • literary west. Sherilyn earned her Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Nonfiction from Antioch University Los Angeles and lives in southern California.
